We finally registered for our lil "Sweet Pea!"

So, we actually registered weeks ago, but I am finally remembering to blog about it. Wow, it took much longer than I thought it would! There are just so many choices! For everything!!! It is absolutely amazing how much stuff there is for babies! And since this is our first child and we don't have baby stuff already, we registered for a lot! We also registered for a lot because whatever we don't end up getting from other people, we get 10% off if we buy it ourselves! And, I really like having everything we want in one concise list that we can always refer to for anything we forgot about.
So yeah, we decided to register at "Buy Buy Baby" and "Babies R Us!" We absolutely LOVE "Buy Buy Baby!" Is is a new store to Austin that opened last September, so no one we know registered there since all of their babies were born before last September! So, there is only one in Austin and it is located off of Brodie Lane. They also have two locations in the Dallas area, but none in San Antonio, Houston or Corpus Christi, etc, yet. They are trying to get another one in Austin near the Arboretum now and there are other locations nationwide, but you can always visit their website.
The reason we love "Buy Buy Baby" so much is that the sales people there are SO helpful!!! One day this one lady literally took about two hours of her time talking to us about cribs, bedding, mattresses and bassinets! The time just seems to fly by when you are in there! From the moment we went in there, I loved it. It is owned by "Bed Bath & Beyond" and when you go in there, it looks just like it! It is so organized, has a huge inventory and is immaculately clean! AND, they take the "Bed Bath & Beyond" 20% off coupons! And, they also take any "Babies R Us" coupons, too! Anyway, I could go on and on about "Buy Buy Baby"...I've always gone to "Babies R Us" to buy baby gifts for other people and I still like it and think they have a great selection, I just wish they had more people working at the check-out counters! Every time I go there it is so busy and you have to wait a while to check-out.
