Resendez Family: Baby Reese Isabella's first month of life-August 28th-September 28th, 2010!!!

Okay, I am going to try to post pics in the order in which I took them since I am so behind but I want to attempt to go in some sort of orderly fashion here. Here are some of my favorite pics from her first month of life from August 28th-September 28th, 2010! And what a month it was! The first month was definitely the hardest because everything was so new and we had no idea what we were doing! Like I said before we went to a regular Doctor's appt on August 27th, 2010 and my blood pressure was really high so they sent us to the hospital for monitoring. My blood pressure ended up going down, but my Dr said since I was due in just 4 days and it might go up like that again, that she wanted to induce. I was terrified and wanted to wait but Serg and my Mom agreed with her to induce that day.

Oh yeah, I called my Mom right after they sent us to the hospital and of course she left work and drove from Houston to Austin immediately to be with us! So sweet! She was already planning on coming over that night for the next two weeks because that is when she was able to get off from work. I remember saying "so even if they baby is late and doesn't come until like September 2nd, you are still starting your time off from when you get off work on Friday, August 27th for two weeks?" She said yes, that this was the only time she could get off from work. I was scared cause I thought what if the baby is really late and we only have my Mom with us for a few days? Luckily that didn't end up happening because we ended up inducing on August 27th, Baby Reese Isabella was born on August 28th(8/28/10! I love it!) and we ended up having my Mom able to stay with us for 16 days! Yea!!!

Oh my goodness! This makes me so sad just to look at it! This is when they weighed her and my heart sank! She weighed 6lbs, 10oz at birth and weighed 5lbs, 13oz at three days old at her first Pediatrician appt! She had lost 12.29% of her body weight since birth and they are only supposed to lose up to 10%! My sweet baby girl! Poor thing!!! This is her at her first appt at her Pediatrician's office on August 31st, 2010!
