Our lil "Sweet Pea" is a baby girl!!!!!

Hey there! Well, I am just now remembering to update the blog in a while, but we found out on April 15, 2010 that our lil "Sweet Pea" is a baby girl!!!!! "Mother's Intuition" was right this time! Hehe! It was such a wonderful day. During our 1 minute drive to the sonogram appt(yep, our Doctor really is that close to our place), Serg said let's turn on the radio and see if we get a sign from God on whether it's a boy or a girl! I said sure...He turns on the radio and, I am not kidding, ZZ Top's song "She's Got Legs" is playing! We laughed out loud! Not only was "she" in the song, but it was the first word we heard! WOW!
So, we went in to get the ultrasound and were so excited! The technician started with more important things than telling us the gender at first by looking at all of the major organs. We waited and waited...And I thought Serg said "It might be a boy" and with all of the different things the tech is zooming in on and stuff, I thought I might have seen some male parts! So, for a few minutes I said "Woah, I guess I was wrong." So, the tech says "Looks like your Husband might be right!" And he says "What did I say?" and she said "You said girl, right?" Anyway, she said there are her girl parts! So funny that I had an overwhelming feeling she was a girl from the very first moment I saw the positive home pregnancy test!?
Anyway, the tech reassured us that our baby is developing normally and everything is looking good. Thank Goodness! It is so amazing that she isn't even a pound yet(only 12oz) and they could see so many things! Like the chambers of the heart, different parts of the brain, kidneys, everything! So amazing...I could go on and on, but please look at the pictures they gave us! We also got a DVD, but I am not sure how to post that on here...It is only 5 minutes long...Does anyone know how to copy it here? I will try to figure it out...
Anyway, April 15, 2010 is a day we will never forget cause it is the day we found out that we were going to have our very own daughter!!! I couldn't add captions below the pictures, so I will add them here. In the first one, we could not believe that she is touching her toes to her nose! That is what we used to do when I was on the dance team! Maybe she is going to be a dancer? The second one is a picture of her face. The last two are profile shots of our baby girl. We got two other pictures at this appt but Serg asked me not to post them on here or on facebook because they show her girl parts! Isn't he adorable? He is already being a protective Daddy and she is still in utero! How cute!!!
